Fun With Candy
What isn't fun about candy, especially chocolate. I will
show you some easy ways to dress up average goodies into
beautiful gifts.

1,000th sample contest |

I am coming up on the thousandth sample in my data base.
I am on number 946, which kind of blows my mind! I
thought it would be fun to include some samples made by
you. Please send your card or 3-D project samples to me
to be scanned and included on my website. The thousandth
sample entered will receive a $19.95 stamp set of their
choice.
Here are the contest rules:
1. All samples must be made with ONLY current Stampin'
Up! products. No exceptions!
2. No samples will be returned.
3. I reserve the right to exclude any samples, if I
decide that they are not the quality I am looking for.
Do your BEST stamping!
4. This contest is open to anyone receiving this
newsletter. Feel free to forward it on to your stamping
friends.
I will reserve a special page on the website for all of
the entries to be displayed and will keep a tally of
where we are in the goal of 1,000. Good Luck and Happy

Dear Stamper,
I hope you had a wonderful summer and are enjoying all
the excitement and craziness that goes along with back
to school. Now that routines are being reestablished and
(hopefully) you have more time to yourself during the
school day, it is the perfect time to make a resolution
to find more time for yourself. Maybe that means
enjoying a good book, meeting a friend for coffee,
catching up on some scrapbooking, or making a few cards.
Whatever your simple pleasure is, whether stamping or

 The
Big Shot
Stampin' Up! has partnered with the Sizzix company to
begin offering The Big Shot Manuel Die cutting machine to
our customers. This versatile tool can cut through many
different mediums including card stock, vinyl, chipboard
and fabric. Stampin' Up! has some exclusive dies that
coordinate perfectly with out stamp sets and punches.

add some helpful technique information on using the
Big Shot and the many types of Dies that are
available. I also will be keeping a special page to
display projects made using the Big Shot.

Punchy
September 25 1:00 pm or 7:00 pm
Stampin' Up! has always had awesome punches and they
just added some more great ones. Come and learn how to
jazz up your cards with punched accents and learn some
fun and different ways to use our punches. We will be
making 8 cards. Class fee is $15. Please RSVP by 9/19.

Big Shot
October 23 1:00 pm or 7:00 pm
This fabulous manual die-cut machine is the latest
addition to our line of innovative products. This
class will start with a short demonstration and then
we will be using the Big Shot to create 4 great
projects that include a scrapbook page and a 3-D gift.
