| Instructions: Using a piece of acetate for the card body creates a dramatic appearance that is a real wow. | ||||
|
|
Start with a piece of acetate that is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (standard card size) and fold it in half using a bone folder.

Stamp onto the acetate card front using StazOn ink. I used the Cotton White for my snowflakes. You can NOT use craft ink. It will never dry properly and will constantly smear.

Create a focal point for your card out of cardstock and attach it to the front of the folded acetate using dimensionals or glue dots

I used dimensionals to attach my cardstock, as you can see from the inside of the card. The next step will add another mat to the image and hide the dimensionals.

Cut the mat 1/4" larger on both sides and lay it inside the card. Close your card and make sure that everything lines up.

Once the positioning is correct, place mini glue dots in the center of the
mat (mine is Night of Navy) and then close the card and press down to make
sure the glue dots stick. When you open the card again, you will see that the mat has hidden the dimensionals. |

To create the message on the inside of the card, cut this piece 1/4" larger
in both directions than your previous mat (Night of Navy). Stamp on only the
center and leave the edges clean, because they will show. Lay the cardstock inside the card and then close the card to check placement. Once the alignment is right, carefully lift up one corner and place a mini glue dot underneath. Repeat this completely attach the cardstock. |

| Here is the finished card where you can see all the layers from the front. | ||||
