Creating a Candy Bouquet

These make a great gift or a centerpiece. Change the color scheme for a Baby Shower, birthday, or Halloween party.

I am using Bamboo skewers with York Peppermint patties and Hershey nuggets to create my bouquet.

The Bamboo skewers easily poke into the Peppermint patties.
The special 20th anniversary die that Stampin' Up! carries for the Big Shot fits perfectly over the patty. I have attached the cardstock with mini glue dots. You could also use sticky strip.

The Scallop punch, paired with the Birds & Blooms Sizzlit Die and a clear button also decorates the Peppermint patty beautifully.
Instruction 4
To decorate the Hershey nuggets, cut a strip of cardstock 1" x 3". Place some sticky strip on the candy and then wrap the cardstock around.
Place another piece of sticky strip to secure the ends of the cardstock.

The Bamboo skewer will also poke into the nugget.

Use the small scallop from the Birds & Blooms Sizzlit Die combined with the stamp set Small Flowers to complete the nugget fronts.
I purchase an inexpensive flower pot from a Craft Store to use as the base for my bouquet. I placed a piece of floral foam into the bottom of the pot to secure the skewers.
I decorated my pot using ribbon and Designer Series Paper. I used wood glue to attach the paper to the terra cotta pot.
To have different height bamboo skewers, I cut them with hedge trimmers.
  Here is the finished bouquet.
