Diorama Card

Instructions: First you need to determine the colors you are going to use for the three pieces of this project. The front and the back a cut 8 1/2" x 3" and the middle piece is 6 1/2" x 3".

Score both of the 8 1/2" pieces 2 inches in from both ends. Score the 6 1/2" piece one inch in from each end. The Wild Wasabi will be the front of the card. The Sahara Sand will be the back and the Soft Sky will be the middle.
Using the 1 3/8" circle punch, line up the edge of the punch with the left hand score line and slide the punch all the way in. Punch a circle.
Repeat on the right side, using the score line as an edge. Then line up between the two circles and punch a third in the center. This is what the front of the card will look like.
Repeat the punching process for the center piece of cardstock, the Soft Sky, using the 1 1/4" circle punch. Here are the three pieces of the card in order.
Lay the middle piece of cardstock on the back piece, lining up the score lines and stamp through the holes. This will assure that the image on the back of the card will line up and be perfectly centered when the card is completed.
Use sticky strip and attach the middle of the card to the back of the card. The scored flaps of the middle are folded toward the back.
Now take the front of the card and attach it. The outside edges of the front will completely cover the edges of the back on the outside of the card. Make sure to use sticky strip, so the card does not fall apart.
Here is the finished card. This card fits and can be mailed in the Small Open-End Envelope. Extra postage will be required.
