Hidden Message Card

Dimensions: Slider base 5 1/4 x 8 1/2 (Mellow Moss)
                     Sliding Tag 3 3/4 x 4 1/2 (So Saffron)
                     Hidden Message Piece 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 (Regal Rose)

First score the Slider base at 4" and 8". With the 1/2" tab on the left, slide the cardstock into the cutter to the 1 1/4" mark and then cut from 3/4" to 4 1/2". Repeat this with the cardstock at 3 3/4". This will create two parallel slits, centered on the front of the card.
Stamp the front of the card (if desired), before moving on to the next step.
Stamp the top and bottom of the hidden message piece. The bottom message is the one that will be seen when the card is "closed" and the top message will be revealed when the tab is pulled.
Attach the hidden message peice to the front on the card. It will fit exactly between the slits that were cut.

Punch out a half circle from the bottom of the card, using a circle punch. I used the 1 1/4" circle.

To start creating the sliding tag piece, place the cardstock into the cutter horizontally or lengthwise. Cut from the top down to 3 1/4".
This is the piece that is created with that cut.
Flip over the front of the card and slip the sliding tag into the slits.
This is what the inside of the card should look like, when the sliding tag is all the way into place.
Staple the open edge of the sliding tag, so it is secured in place. It will be able to move up and down, but not left to right.
This is what the front of the card looks like, once the sliding tag is put into place.
Add an embellishment to the bottom of the sliding tag to make it easier to pull. This is optional.
Place sticky strip along the 1/2" tab that was created in the first scoring step. Fold the edge over and seal the card. Attach the entire thing to a card body using sticky strip.
