For this technique it is best to use a thicker cardstock, like confetti or naturals white, because it stands up better to the multiple layers of embossing powder. Place the entire piece of cardstock onto a Versamark ink pad and rub to evenly coat with ink.

In a Powder Pal, sprinkle embossing powder over the entire surface of the cardstock.

Use a Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder. You need to apply three layers of powder. If you are quick enough, you can pour more powder directly onto the surface while the powder is still hot. If this is not working for you, then simply let the paper cool and place it back onto the Versamark pad to pick up more ink. This will enable you to add the next layer of powder.

After adding the third layer, place your paper onto your work surface. Hold the Heat tool in one hand and the stamp with has been covered in Versamark ink in the other. Gently heat the entire surface and then immediately push the stamp onto the surface. You must act quickly! If the image does not work, heat the surface and try again.
