Back to Main Tips Page Photo Enhancement Using Stampin' Pastels Original Enhanced
Instructions: This is a very simple technique that can create a truly original photo. The two requirements are that your photo must be black and white and it must have a Matte finish. If you can't get your photos printed with a Matte finish, you can spray a glossy photo with a Matte finish spray. Using an applicator that comes with the pastels, color in only the section of your photo you wish to highlight. You can use a Q-tip to remove excess color if you want to lighten a section. Here is the completed page. The grosgrain ribbon on the tag was also colored using pastels. Coloring ribbon with pastels lets you create two-sided ribbon. The ribbon in the sample is Pixie Pink on one side and Orchid Opulence on the other. |
