Using punches to create flowers

Instructions:

   Card made by Becky Schmertman

Starting from left to right, here are the instructions for creating these three flowers.

Left flower: Punch a three circles from cardstock using the 1 3/8 inch, 1 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch circle punches. Use paper snips to remove small sections from the 1 1/4 inch circle. Layer the three pieces.

Middle flower: Punch two circles using the 1 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch circle punches. Use the 1/4 inch circle punch to punch all around the edge of the punched 1 1/4 inch circle. Layer your circles.

Right flower: Punch two circles of different color cardstock using the 1 1/4 inch circle punch. Also punch a 3/4 inch circle. Use the 1/4 inch circle to remove small pieces of the edge of one of the 1 1/4 inch circles. Layer all three pieces

Here is a different type of flower, where all the petals are created using the 1 1/4 inch circle punch and punching out designer paper. The center of the flower is made by layering the 1 1/4 inch and 1 3/8 inch circle punches.
