Creating Faux Linen

Sand a piece of glossy cardstock both horizontally and vertically using a sanding block. This creates the hatch mark pattern of linen fabric. Use a stampin’ sponge to cover the glossy cardstock with Creamy Caramel Craft Ink. Set aside to dry. After the faux linen is dry, stamp the leaf from All the Best in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink.

You can experiment using different colors of ink, like So Saffron, Going Gray, More Mustard to name a few that will work well with this technique. The only requirement is that the ink must be craft ink. The classic ink will not spread well or evenly on the glossy cardstock.
