Sanding on Window Sheets

Use a sanding block to sand one side of a window sheet. The sanding will give the sheet a slightly opaque appearance and will reduce the slick texture. Using Black Staz On ink, stamp the pear image from Ageless Adornment on the sanded window sheet. You want to stamp the same side you sanded. Set aside to dry.

Once dry, color the image in with metallic pencils and use a blender pen to smooth out the color. If you are placing your image on a light colored cardstock, you may not need to back it in white. Because in this sample the pear image is placed on top of Old Olive cardstock with a piece of black gingham ribbon behind it, I adhered the                                  window sheet to Whisper White cardstock before cutting it out. The stamped image has some extra sparkle both from the shiny window sheet and the metallic pencils. This is difficult to see in the scanned image.
