| Instructions: To start this project you need two pieces of cardstock, both cut to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Score in 1/2 and 1 inch on short sides of both pieces. For the example, the front of the card is out of colored cardstock and the back is white. | ||||
|
|
Using a circle cutting system, like Coluzzle, cut a hole out of the cardstock that will be the front of the card. Use the score marks to make sure that the hole is centered.

Decorate the front of the card, if you desire. This is much easier to do while the cardstock is still flat and you have not folded it along the score lines.

Lay the piece of cardstock that will be the back of the card underneath the front, making sure to line up the edges. Stamp your main image through the hole.

Fold along the score lines. Use sticky strip to attach the two sides together, so they do not fall apart.

Attach the two pieces together to form the shadow box. The cardstock will only be held together at the outermost edges.
| Here is the finished project. This card will fold flat and can be mailed in a standard size business envelope. | ||||
