Pop-up Card This project doesn't require any special materials, though the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine made it much quicker to create. |

| Instructions: | ||||

This card needs a liner, to provide extra weight and stability. Cut a regular size card body, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" and then cut the liner 5 1/4" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8" | |||

To get the liner in position, so that the edges and most importantly the score line is placed correctly, put SNAIL on one half of the liner and place it into the card. Make sure the score marks align or the card will not close properly. | |||

Place SNAIL on the other half of the liner and then close the card to attach the other half of the liner. | |||

Punch out a 1 3/4" circle. | |||

Use Paper snips to cut your circle into a spiral. Start at one spot and just keep working your way around. Make sure to leave about a 1/4" section in the center. | |||

Here is a side view of the cut out spiral. | |||

Place a piece of sticky strip on the center of the circle. Do not peel the backing off yet! | |||
 |
Flip the circle over and place either a small piece of sticky strip or a rolled up mini glue dot on the beginning of the spiral. | |||
 |
Lay the spiral in the center of the card and press down to affix the glue
dot. Peel the backing off the sticky strip and then close the card. |

Here is what the attached spiral will look like. | |||

Place rolled up mini glue dots on the spiral where you want to attach the
shapes. I attached butterflies that were made using the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die. The finished inside is pictured below. |

| Faux Gel Pen Instructions | ||||

We don't sell a Very Vanilla Gel Pen, so to create dots for the front of my finished card, I used a Craft Ink Refill. You also need a stylus tool that has a small ball tip. | |||

Dip the tip of the stylus tool into the Very Vanilla Craft Ink. | |||
 |
Gently dab onto the cardstock. Use the Heat Tool to speed up the drying process. | |||
