Thumping

This is a super simple method to add some depth to your stamped images. Just make sure to always go from light to dark, so you do not damage your markers!

Instructions:

Ink your stamp with a light color using a Classic ink pad. I chose Soft Sky. Then use a darker color marker, I used Tempting Turquoise, to tap or "thump" the surface of the rubber.
When you stamp the image, you will have a mix of the two colors. A stamp with a large surface area works well for this, but you can use any stamp. I used this technique for the background leaf image on my sample also.

You have to wash the rubber each time you stamp to make sure you do not contaminate your ink pad with the marker color.

  Here is the finished card.
