Ink your stamp with a light color using a Classic ink pad. I chose Soft Sky. Then use a darker color marker, I used Tempting Turquoise, to tap or "thump" the surface of the rubber. | |||

When you stamp the image, you will have a mix of the two colors. A stamp
with a large surface area works well for this, but you can use any stamp. I
used this technique for the background leaf image on my sample also. You have to wash the rubber each time you stamp to make sure you do not contaminate your ink pad with the marker color. |
