| Instructions: This simple box is very easy to make. It could be a fun project to do with the kids as a special gift for their teachers and friends. | ||||
|
|
Start with a piece of cardstock that is 10" x 5". If you wish to stamp on it, now is the time. I stamped hearts, but they are very faint and hard to see in this picture.

Score the cardstock at 5".

Use a pencil and a ruler (or grid paper) to mark the center of the end of the cardstock. Repeat on the other end.
![]() |
Make diagonal scores from the pencil mark to the original score at 5". Repeat this three more times.

This is what the inside of the box should look like when the scores are completed.

Place sticky strip on two flaps of the box, put to not remove the red backing yet.

Remove the red backing from one of the pieces of sticky strip and fold the two sides into each other.

Before closing the other side, fill with the candy of your choice. If for some reason, you completely seal your box before filling it, you can squeeze open the top and put in small sized candy.

Use a crop-a-dile to punch holes in both of the sides of the box.

Here is the side of the box with the hole punched.

Thread a ribbon through the holes and tie a bow. This looks nice and will help hold the box closed.
