Tunnel Card

Instructions: To start this project you need a 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 piece of cardstock, scored at 4 1/4. This will be the outside of your card. You need another piece of cardstock that is 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 for the inside of your card. This piece will be scored three times at 2 1/8, 4 1/4 and 6 3/8. If the cardstock you choose for the outside of the card is a dark color, then you need another piece that is 5 1/4 by 8 1/4 to go on the inside for your stamping.

After scoring the inside of your card, use the score marks to find the center and cut an opening. You can use a Coluzzle or other cutting system and the shape of the opening is completely up to you.
Line up the front of the card with the inside, or line up the inside with the additional piece of cardstock (as shown). The score marks should match. Stamp your image through the hole in the cardstock. This will assure that everything will line up when you assemble the card.
If you have the additional piece of cardstock, attach it to the inside of the card. If I did not have the additional white cardstock, then the stamping would be directly on the Tempting Turquoise.
Take the inside of your card and accordion fold it along the three score lines. Use sticky strip to attach it to the inside of your card. Make sure that there is no adhesive on the section around the opening, or the card will not open properly.
This is what the finished inside of your card will look like.
Here is the finished front of the card.
